We didn’t see the crocodile, but there was a Flatback Turtle in the creek. The resident Pied Oystercatchers were feeding on the mud as the tide continued to fall and the Brahminy Kites circled over the creek looking for fish. They were exactly where they were last time-isn’t it nice when that happens!

The former provided itself readily enough — it was a day of unfolding leaves and butterflies, emerging flowers, basking turtles, and just to ensure that I remained on-topic, jewel-colored Trojan wrappers left beside the path.
