We receive nestling owls who have been fed nothing but hamburger, whose bones are so brittle from lack of calcium that they break when they try to stand. And they would realize that any species whose young tried to nurse with a pointed beak would be a short-lived species. A pet cat raising orphaned ducklings!

It is commonly kept in captivity and has therefore established many feral populations world-wide originating from escaped / released cage birds. This is what happens when people choose their pet birds on visual factors alone without taking vocalizations into account. Very stupid thing to do. We love them anyway.
