We should not abandon our meat-eating habits, but remoralize them, by incorporating them into affectionate human relations, and using them in the true Homeric manner, as instruments of hospitality, conviviality and peace. I believe, however, that there is another remedy, and one more in keeping with the Judaeo-Christian tradition.

But, really, even if I ate meat, I wouldn't touch KFC. It's fast food and it is unhealthy. The more fattening food you eat, the more money goes to cancer research. for cancer research. It's not just a question of animal rights. Chickens that are used for KFC products are horribly treated. That stuff is horrible!

He thinks that the treatment of animals in factory farms is morally unjustifiable, and yet, he continues to support those practices financially by purchasing and eating meat and animal products.
