Toucans were something else entirely and we couldn’t even see them at the local zoo. A bird of lowland and foothill rainforest, the Yellow-throated Toucan can be seen in most parts of the Caribbean slope and from the Carara area south to Panama. This species also tends to forage in pairs or small family groups.
