So, beside a lot of birds and the sunny sky, I want the coldest thing to experience year-round to be my beer. Venezuela (1365 / 1383). While I do enjoy the first snow of the season, the second snow is a different matter. As is every one after it. Which leaves me with quite a few choices – practically the entire tropical belt, right?

Experiments in the field (the famed Asa Wright Nature Center veranda) involving Bananaquits and bananas came up with numbers ranging from 7 to 16, but a tanager always came along to interfere with Bananaquits’ noisy appreciation of their namesake fruit. I was trying to find that answer for a while and it turned into a very annoying experience. Venezuela 1417 8. The most bird-rich northeast of India includes e.g. the Kaziranga NP and the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, respectively, together with the world’s largest Amur Falcon roost in Nagaland.
