I understand how someone who supports the Humane Society of the United States might think an event celebrating "humane" farms would be a good id, as HSUS isn't an animal rights organization.

“Bird Count at Cano Negro” was too mundane to portray the boat rides, mosquitoes, remote habitats, the surprise lamb chops lunch, and other situations. Hard to imagine nowadays, this majestic mountain setting was a major communist guerilla stronghold in the Greek Civil War (1946-1949) and the region is scarred by the events and the memories of them. The cuisine was magnificent, especially lamb. . – the highest in the country. Also, trekking poles proved useful.
