Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros. Here is one: when taking photos of elephants, an 800 mm tele lens is not the best equipment. I guess he should have stuck with the substantially less dangerous trogons. Lucky him, right?
