Shortly before David’s death, the couple finally arrived at a precise mixture of human baby formula and coconut.

Not sure why they spend time in Shanghai in winter when they could come here though, but then again, I usually do not understand most of the behavior of humans either. They look crap but presumably offer some protection for the chicks, though not from each other (see the murderous activities within the nests in my previous post ).

Just imagine a family excursion to Yellowstone to photograph grazing herds of elephants – equally wrong. And the only birds known to actually attack humans, not just try to scare them with screeching and low flights, but to establish a full contact in protection of their offspring, were owls. And protect them, too.
