The unnecessary killing of a terrified animal who was likely fighting for his life, becomes he lined up to be slaughtered so you may dine on his flesh. During the show they give out Good Egg Awards to kids who've performed "acts of kindness."

I recall one day when his sister-in-law was speaking with him about what she was feeding her children, and it wasn't a vegan-centered conversation. Slaughter in moderation. He was particularly talented at the conversation stopper: a succinct response to something that people found so shocking that the conversation would stop.

On "EATING ANIMALS" by Jonathan Safran Foer

I say "if you know someone" because this isn't a book I'd recommend to vegans for their vegan education efforts. The vegans I know would probably find it a bit maddening, and here's why: We aren't sure whether Foer is a vegan. Not great, but good. He never says he is. But why does he say "vegetarian?"
