Note the short legs, stout body and white rump and tail I see Muntjac on virtually every birding (or dog-walking) outing, as these small Asian deer are now very numerous around my home in the Suffolk Brecks. I’ve never quite understood why so many people wrap their scopes up in little jackets, (but nor do I understand why it’s so popular to dress dogs up in coats, too, as they are already wrapped in fur. It proved strong enough to take the many knocks and falls that a hard-used scope experiences during its lifetime.

Dogs are able to detect diseases such as cancer and diabetes and warn humans of impending heart attacks and strokes. In June 2006, Jane and I visited a chimpanzee sanctuary near Girona, Spain. Dogs Sniffing Out Disease. As we know, dogs have a keen sense of smell. As we all know, dogs are “man’s best friend.”
