I don't need to "remind myself" of how bad it is to bolster my commitment to veganism. I spend plenty of time doing nonprofit work that is unrelated to animals and also doing for-profit work that is unrelated to animals. In other words, I don't immerse myself in animal cruelty. I know it's out there.
