The meat industry will say yes, of course, all animals are treated and killed humanely. There is an abundance of information on the web about undercover investigations, livestock conditions, slaughter procedures, etc. Livestock don’t contribute to campaigns, but agribusiness does. Here is my opinion.

According to the HPMAJ column, "Loos told cattle producers the livestock industry must show the public that there are moral and ethical justifications for taking the life of an animal to feed a person.
