The meat industry will say yes, of course, all animals are treated and killed humanely. There is an abundance of information on the web about undercover investigations, livestock conditions, slaughter procedures, etc. You are not processing their wellbeing, but their carcasses for meat. Here is my opinion.

Many of the beef industry’s problems result from feedlots that consume tremendous amounts of grain and that pour out huge sloughs of waste.
