This is a matter of human compassion to prevent the further suffering of animals that have already served this species in prior experiments. These highly intelligent animals should be PERMANENTLY retired and a PERMANENT sanctuary created for them. They deserve better and we are capable of providing them with better.

Many animals also display wide-ranging emotions, including joy, happiness, empathy, compassion, grief, and even resentment and embarrassment. There are are presently thought to be five species of kiwi with a possible sixth extinct species, all of which have suffered varying degrees of range contraction since the arrival of humans. Both these tours are for the Little Spotted Kiwi , the smallest species and one now one mainly confined to offshore islands.
