I liked the way the film connects oil use to an oil company. With regard to cruelty and suffering, it's clear from the film that the human animal has been profoundly negatively affected by climate change, but there is no attention given to nonhuman animals. It's about the people and the land.

Meat-packing companies might encourage, for example, an increased dog population to take up the slack. It is certainly likely that a similar phenomenon would occur if vegan vegetarianism became a widespread movement in the U.S. But my eating meat is not such a necessary condition for cruelty to animals. causing a decline in U.S.
