A vagrant from northern Colombia isn’t out of the question but we are still waiting for that local mega to happen. It seems different enough from Indigo-capped Hummingbird to be a stray of that Colombian endemic, and a good hybrid hypothesis has been elusive. It is depressing and angering and just wrong.
