The experience, the place, and the bird combine to make this my BBOTY. I was a bit sad, too, that we had annoyed the owl enough that it felt it had to strafe us … my normal MO is to avoid stressing out wildlife. Once endangered, they lead happy, protected lives, oblivious to the tourists who love them.
