Sea turtles can be seen from the beach or while snorkling at Tamarindo Beach, especially if you go early in the morning. Cattle Egrets were easily found in any open areas, particularly around the airport and the eastern end of the island. Scaly-naped Pigeons are easy to find anywhere in Culebra.
