At high tide the shorebirds have a protection wall where they can roost on green lawn and feel safe. As we travelled around the hinterland we discovered that the Cattle Egret in that area of Queensland were with the cattle! Sometimes they were with horses, but that’s OK! Cattle Egret and cattle.
