I got curious today and googled "Jennifer Fearing," the woman who led the Yes on Proposition 2 campaign. Pretty impressive bio (please note that the bio is from her time at HSUS). If so, campaign to ban the rodeo, for heaven's sake! Just be honest about your goal and campaign for it! But the HSUS is by no means an animal-rights organization; it is an animal welfare organization. What's the difference between the HSUS and the VHS and CHS? That's what the ad would make me think.
