Penguins are flightless, but some species locomote over long distances on antarctic ice to travel between breeding grounds and the sea. So, which came first, the underwater flight, the ability to hunt fish, the exceptional ability to live in the cold, or the tuxedo-camouflage? The fossils were very well preserved and included feathers.
