If being hunted by evil humans was not enough, Ashy-throated Parrotbills are also hosts of the parasitic Common Cuckoo. Different from many humans, they tend to be quite polite – in a study , male wrens avoided overlapping their own song over the playback of another male by timing the start of their song accordingly.
