In her blog yesterday she wrote of her experience accepting the award, and who she thanked and didn't thank. She expressed her gratitude for those she kills in her book, as well: "When I first ate a meal from one of our lambs, I thought I'd be upset, since it'd been so hard to take them to the abbattoir.

I love your blog. I wrote the following for a blog on the Animals and Religion Forum on the Best Friends Animal Network website. When Jesus died on the cross, He didn't just save us humans—He died for the animals, too. Lambs, goats, birds were sacrificed at home, at temples and on altars themselves. Dear Keith, Hi.
