The Foundation for Biomedical Research (FBR) announced today it has launched a one-year national animal research education campaign. Since 2004, public support for humane animal research to advance human and animal health has fallen 10 points.

They do support some animal-based studies (which sucks); HOWEVER, they acknowledge that much animal research is useless. Remember animal research doesn't just create reports, it creates CAREERS as well.) Our primary concern is the advancement of investigative methodologies that lead to effective cures and treatments for human diseases.

Beloved family pet Dalmatian, Pepper, is stolen, and after several weeks of searching is discovered to have been experimented on at a hospital and died on the table when researchers tried to implant her with an experimental cardiac pacemaker. By the end of my time as researcher, I was performing behavioral experiments on humans.
