In Hawaii I stood on a beach as albatrosses fledged and Tiger Sharks prowled for the less successful ones. In Belize I cruised above reefs few people had ever seen. In Uganda I would often cross paths with Chimpanzees as they went about their lives and I went about mine (which was living with a troop of monkeys).

They’ve Got an Awful Lot of Birds in Brazil.

First Corey gets his life Jabiru in Belize, then I see my lifer in the Pantanal. I was practically right next to the two in this photo (and, note the Rufescent Tiger-heron photobomb). They are members of the Parulidae family and Horneros are members of the Furnariidae family, a nice example of parallel evolution. Let’s go!”
