Humane Society Puts Pressure on South Carolina's Bear Baying

A declawed, defanged bear is chained to a stake as hunting dogs bark and snap, trying to force the bear to stand on its hind legs. The training exercise called bear baying is intended to make the bears easier to shoot in the wild and it's only allowed in South Carolina. State law on the issue is murky.

I have a concern about a wildlife sanctuary.

The sanctuary now claims because of this dependency, they need to be fed by humans because stopping would cause the wildlife to go into local towns. Feeding wolves, bears, etc was always a big no in my eyes. More digging revealed the organization that claims to fund them owns the sanctuary. Something just doesn’t seem right.
