Non-human beings have traditionally thought of on a basically immoral level…they lack any intrinsic values, are incapable of thoughts and emotions, and are only worth how good of a coat they make or how good they taste. But I digress. Science, for many years, has done no better. It is the simplest, and laziest, explanation.
