Regarding Adam's comment yesterday about low-cost spay/neuter, the reason this particular one is low-cost is that it is subsidized by the county and city (and maybe State, I'm not sure). However, she does have people who can help, and now that Pahokee's open they will focus some time each week on Project Treadstone! Can you imagine?

Vetsulin was the perfect new product, except for the fact that it's animal (pig) based, unlike human insulins, and then there was the problem with quality control that was first reported last year. For these reasons, my vet had no problem with me stockpiling Vetsulin. Once again, I am reminded of the micro aspect of helping animals.
