The Coalition to Ban Horse-Drawn Carriages calls itself "an animal rights-protection-abolitionist organization," which I find interesting. Regardless, they are joining Friends of Animals and Hearts for Animals on Saturday December 5. I'm sure a lot went into that and I wonder why it is defined that way.

Owen County Friends of Animals (KY) is a non-profit organization that fosters and seeks adoptions for the dogs picked up by their local dog warden. One wound (the one on his front right leg) was to the bone. Doesn't he look like my boy Charles ? Their shelter is full. He has been vetted and is healing nicely.

Defenders of the gun club accused me of lying, of distorting facts, of being anti-hunting, of being an animal rights activist, of being allied with the dreaded Friends of Animals, of hiding my true agenda (gun control), and of being unconcerned that animal lovers were supposedly threatening members of the gun club with death.
