Image via Wikipedia I found The Goode Family disappointing on the vegan side. One complaint many of us have with "liberals" and "progressives" is that they tend to leave veganism and animal rights out of their sphere of concern. Is The Goode Family Good for the Environment? Yeah, lots of mockery, but I didn't laugh.

Not the day, the film, where Bill Murray experiences the same day over and over again. There are few animal rights stories in the news. That's respect.

He was adopted by the Masson family and was apparently the most loving dog all who met him had ever had the pleasure of being licked by. My experience says otherwise (particularly with my childhood kitty, Brady), but generally speaking Masson's depiction of cats is accurate. There's never a claw in sight and she's very patient).

Beloved family pet Dalmatian, Pepper, is stolen, and after several weeks of searching is discovered to have been experimented on at a hospital and died on the table when researchers tried to implant her with an experimental cardiac pacemaker. By the end of my time as researcher, I was performing behavioral experiments on humans.

I'm not one of those people who thinks family is composed of only humans or humans who are biologically related. The idea of family is currently being used by the dairy industry in a series of commercials with the tag line: "99% of dairy farms are family owned." Ninety-nine percent of dairy farms are family owned.
