Group Seeks to Ban Chinese Fur Trade with Australia

The dog's fur is used to make Ugg boots, a popular fashion brand in Australia, to line the inside of the shoe. Besides raccoon dogs, other types of domestic dogs are also suffering because of the high demand for their fur. What angered the society were reports that Chinese workers skinned the dogs while still alive.
