New England Reptile Distributers just released a video explaining a terrible incident involving the FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission). FWC officers arrived at a reptile facility and forcefully killed 29 reticulated pythons, 5 Burmese pythons, and 1 pregnant Boa constrictor.

. — A 27-year-old man who attacked his ex-girlfriend and killed her pet fish has been sentenced to two years probation and a psychological evaluation. The woman fled, then returned to find her fish on the floor with a knife through it. His attorney, Tom Macnair, said stabbing the fish was “a very low point” in his client’s life.

It's just another excuse people have concocted because they like the taste of cow/pig/chicken/fish flesh. We can care about animals and people at the same time; they're not mutually exclusive. If you don't have to enslave, rape, dominate, or kill someone (or have someone else do it for you), why would you? What do you think?
