And in this case we are told exactly where they come from, therefore we don't need to make any assumptions: The child's father taught him how to use a gun (at age 4) and takes him hunting. In America, we demonize not only certain animals, but certain people. Just like his daddy taught him.

The definition of the word HUNT is “to chase or search for game or other wild animals for the purpose of catching or killing.” ” Obviously the dictionary does not equate hunting with conservation.
