Now that we have returned to our adopted home of La Paz, Mexico, our bones are starting to thaw out from the trip to chilly Seattle. While I was in the Seattle area, there were lots of Spotted Towhees , and here in the Mexican desert there were California Towhees.

They are two dogs that once needed to be adopted. Someone told us it involved Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. Someone told us it involved Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. Snopes has it originating in California. They eventually were (in 2007, I believe. But, the story won't die. You can read about our coverage of it here.
