Set in an abandoned oil refinery where wildlife is slowly regaining control save for the desperate attempts of golfers to retain all eighteen holes, industrial ghosts loom over rolling freshwater lakes bordered by fifty foot tall trees. Noisy Yellow-crowned Parrots indicated that it was time to stop the car and get out.

The next day we tried mist netting the cave entrance, and the day after I abandoned the project entirely. Much more exciting was the Blue-crowned Hanging Parrot that shot past, followed, on the rather slippery path to the caves, by several Rufous-winged Philentomas. A Bat Hawk hunting bats. I think we caught perhaps three bats.
