Animals in the tri-state area are euthanized daily, rescue groups are unable to save as many lives as they wish, and animals spend years in boarding kennels while awaiting adopters to fall in love with them. For an adopter, it makes the process a little easier. Many of these boarding animals are forgotten. And the latter is selfish.
