Birding the Bear Mountain of Serbia

We are in the Tara Mountain in western Serbia, ranging from 1,000-1,500 m / 3,000-5,000 ft above sea level. Okay, Brown Bears here are 90% vegetarians, but I don’t think it would be smart to call them that to their face. The Brown Bear remains my nemesis mammal. Yet, not the bear, I’ll have to return for it.
