We are in the Tara Mountain in western Serbia, ranging from 1,000-1,500 m / 3,000-5,000 ft above sea level. The graveyard shift is on duty: several bats are chasing insects through the evening coolness. Okay, Brown Bears here are 90% vegetarians, but I don’t think it would be smart to call them that to their face.
