This year, the with the help of Iams, the Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon helped raised $93,645 for orphaned pets! As you can see, the dogs are in their element! Check out this fun video from the event titled “When surfing dogs collide&# ! What a fun way to spread the word on behalf of homeless pets!

Every year, roughly 3 million lost dogs and cats end up in shelters in the United States. Lost pets is a growing issue that teens care about. So DoSomething.org asked young people to submit ideas for reuniting pets with their owners. She’s also going to start a blog featuring photos of lost pets from her community!
