The Nonggang Babbler ‘s claim to fame is having only been discovered in 2008 (as a meaningless reference, it should be added that the first iPhone was released in 2007, one year earlier). This species seems to frequently join mixed-species flocks – in research in Thailand, the species was found in 20% of the mixed-species flocks.
