How can we say that magic is a farce when the May blossoms are backdropping bright, breeding plumaged Canadas , Magnolias , Chestnut-sideds , chocolate Bay-breasteds , and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks ? Yes, ironically, the 2016 Global Big Day happens to be the same day when I am scheduled to take a visiting in-law relative out for a day trip.

It made it through the rough winter and is still coming around to the feeders.
