When I checked, there's a sparrow in the ground. So I probably have a few hours, can't bring him to a vet since most our vets wouldn't bat an eyelash to the creature. Also, its a Eurasian Tree Sparrow endemic in the Phils. He's still breathing and looks alive. But I'm sure he hurt his wing.

The Harris’s Sparrow in Dryden. It turned up last winter in the back yard of one of my old professors from vet school. What was your biggest surprise in 2012? Getting anywhere near the state Big Year record, let alone exceeding it. What was your biggest dip?
