With a picture of the then-queen of Thailand on it, if I remember correctly. Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros. I guess he should have stuck with the substantially less dangerous trogons. Lucky him, right? Though he ended up dead anyway.

I mean, how do you pick between a handful of broadbills, Rhinoceros Hornbills , two pittas, a falconet and the Whiskered Treeswift ? But the news isn’t entirely gloomy, as numbers of Asian Openbill Storks have recovered in Thailand after crashing. I was Borneo-bound. Greater Adjutants are even rarer.
