Imagine, for a second, that Chris Coffee owned tortoises instead of snakes. Imagine that the FWC raided his reptile facility and ruthlessly killed 35 of his tortoises. People find tortoises more lovable & appealing, and so are more likely to have empathy for them. How would people react?
