I haven't ID'd it just yet, but I'm guessing all mice can live off the same stuff. Considering its been wounded, should I try cleaning its wounds with soapy water? The wounds look pretty bad, however they arent wet and haven't bled at all since i first saw it, so im guessing it has a high chance of living.

I’ve rescued field mice to horses, and everything in between. It’s so much easier to delete a picture than to end the life of a mortally wounded cat-caught bird, like this Downy Woodpecker … who is alive, but not for long. Dear Outdoor Cat Owners/Feral Cat Supporters, Does the photo above sicken you? It sickens me.

I can remember when I was a kid we always had a bunch of cats that had the freedom to go in and out as they pleased and I can remember the dead things they brought home, everything from mice to snakes to baby bunnies to birds.
