Now everyone has a chance to help the Kiwis save their birds as a Wellington philanthropist, Gareth Morgan, is trying to raise NZ$ 1 million to clear the Antipodes Islands of mice. If the money is raised he will match it to get the work underway.

This summer Lisa raised three orphaned Common Ravens. He meant well, but his research told him to feed them Exact parrot formula – which is NOT a diet for ravens. They were not aware of wildlife laws, and thought they could raise and release them. She has a captive-bred education bird named Xena, a Eurasian Eagle Owl.
