I’m not sure if I already was claustrophobic , or if the circumstances merely traumatized me to the point I became one, right there and then. A Bat Hawk hunting bats. Oh, and horrifying insect things were everywhere. I managed half an hour, and spent the whole time convinced that I was going to die.

There isn’t much of a beach right below the resort, but if you wade through the sandy gravel across a submerged spit to a little island just offshore you’ll find not only a small beach but a great snorkelling spot. I also saw an unusual bit of kleptoparasitism, a Great Crested Tern being chased by an E astern Reef Egret !
