I remember that when I was still a research chemist developing dental materials, I once gave a presentation at that university, which was followed by my receiving a hideous and very colorful plate as a gift afterward. Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros.

However most recent research places them amongst the Panthera. Our Snow Leopard sat, quite Cheetah-like, before stalking off and once again rolling in the gravel, apparently an indication of the desire to mask its scent before a hunt. I am exhilarated therefore to be able to share my images and story of this hunt with you.

Another item they feed on is hunting edible bird nest swiftlets, which are quite common in edible swiftlet houses in Sabah, Malaysia ( source ). The first attempt in hunting was made by the male hornbill which was seen snapping at a passing swiftlet, but was unsuccessful. Then she tried to feed it to the remaining chicks.
