Yet More Good News for Project Treadstone

This one's more like Good News for Mary Martin. I received a call yesterday from a woman who started a coalition for homeless cats. Regarding Adam's comment yesterday about low-cost spay/neuter, the reason this particular one is low-cost is that it is subsidized by the county and city (and maybe State, I'm not sure).

As the only organization in New York City whose doors are open to any animal in need, AC&C rescues thousands of New York’s homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned animals each year. The nonprofit’s goal is to place every dog, cat and bunny in a new, loving home. AC&C facilities operate in all five boroughs.
