I was leaving the house on Friday and slipped on a filmy, shiny substance on the tile next to the ironing board, and my feet flew out from under me and I landed, cartoon-style, right on my tailbone. After the ligament medication it wasn't the ligament. Tags: Ethics Food and Drink Greyhound Matters.

Though I test Violet's blood sugar several times a day and give her her insulin and glaucoma medication and eye drops and eye gel, she is only mildly impressed with my dedication. Is there an unwritten law that animals we purchase or even adopt are obligated to shower us with their unconditional love, or we have every right to return them?
